A Legacy of Excellence That Continues Beyond Graduation

Graduates Making an Impact

Dave Epp
(Class of '79)
Since 2019, Dave Epp has had the honour of serving as the federal Member of Parliament for Chatham-Kent Leamington. Prior to being elected, he was a third-generation farmer having been active in agricultural, community, faith and sports organizations his whole life. For Dave and his 4 children, UMEI has always been a small school where opportunities abound for students to develop their own best skills - in academics, sports, leadership, social development, etc. - aided by a dedicated and caring staff.

Mary Fehr
(Class of '05)
Mary Fehr serves as the Vice President at Uni-Fab Custom Metal Fabricating in Leamington. She completed her MBA at Wilfrid Laurier, and played varsity hockey throughout her undergraduate degree. In the summer of 2015, Mary cycled across Canada to raise $321,000 for MEDA's project Greater Rural Opportunities for Women (GROW). She attributes UMEI for strengthening her values of service, leadership and hard work.

Brenna Epp
