Nurturing Faith And Confidence In Every Student

Ensuring Every Student Thrives at School

At UMEI, students are known personally, challenged academically, and supported every step of the way. Through strong relationships with teachers, smaller class sizes, daily extra-help opportunities, and a caring Christ-centred community, students are encouraged to grow in confidence, character, and purpose while discovering their unique strengths and gifts.

In a rapidly changing world, success requires more than academic knowledge alone. Through academics, robotics, and hands-on learning, UMEI students develop communication, collaboration, critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills that matter now more than ever in the age of AI.

What kind of school environment helps your child flourish?

Choosing a high school is one of the most important decisions families make during the teenage years. Beyond academics, the environment students learn in shapes their confidence, friendships, faith, and sense of purpose.

This short reflection takes about one minute and explores a few key factors that help teenagers thrive. As you move through the questions, you’ll also learn how UMEI approaches each of these areas.

There are no right or wrong answers — the goal is simply to help families think about what kind of school environment will help their child flourish.
