Welcome to UMEI Admissions
Choosing a high school is an important decision, and exploring your options carefully helps you find the right fit for your child. UMEI offers faith-based education in a small, supportive environment—more than a school, it is a Christ-centered community where students are known and encouraged to thrive.
We invite you to explore our website, follow us on social media, and book a tour or attend an event. The best way to experience UMEI is to visit in person. In our small classes, dedicated Christian educators equip students for success, and graduates are consistently accepted into their post-secondary programs of choice.
We look forward to connecting with you and answering your questions as you consider UMEI for your family.
You can book a call with Chani below if you’d like to learn more about UMEI, ask questions, or discuss whether UMEI is the right fit for your family.
It's never too early too start exploring High School options!

Teresa Mazzella - UMEI Parent
If you’re on the fence, you have to let your child experience UMEI, through a visit or Shadow Day. That’s what made the difference for us, and now there’s not a question that it was the right choice.
Noah Fleming, Parent

I WOULD TELL THEM TO CONSIDER UMEI AS A SPACE FOR THEIR CHILD TO grow - NOT ONLY AS A STUDENT BUT AS A person. I AM SO IMPRESSED WITH HOW THE SCHOOL LOOKS AT STUDENTS AS A WHOLE - THIS IS NOT ONLY ABOUT ACADEMICS - IT IS SHOWING AND TEACHING STUDENTS HOW TO SUCCEED NOT ONLY IN SCHOOL BUT TO BE changemakers AND POSITIVE role models IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. THE WORLD NEEDS MORE UMEI IN IT.

No. UMEI welcomes students from all faith backgrounds. While Christian faith is woven into school life through religious studies classes, chapels, and our community, students from many different church traditions—and those exploring faith—are welcome.
Absolutely. Many of our students join UMEI from public schools. We work closely with new students to help them feel welcome and supported as they adjust.
Yes! Students join UMEI in every grade. Whether you're considering a mid-year transfer or starting a new school year with us, we'd be happy to discuss your options.
The best way to get to know our school is by visiting! We encourage families to book a personal tour, attend an Open House, or register for a Shadow Day so students can experience a typical day at UMEI.
Tuition rates are set annually, and vary depending on the number of children you have attending the school.. We also offer flexible payment plans and financial assistance for qualifying families. You can request tuition information here.
Yes. We believe finances should never be the only reason a family doesn't consider UMEI. Financial assistance of up to half tuition is available, and we'd be happy to have a confidential conversation about your family's situation. All applications for financial assistance are completed through a secure online system.
UMEI does not provide its own transportation. We connect families in a similar geographic area to coordinate carpooling, which is a very successful way to get your child to school. Our students come from Leamington, Kingsville, Wheatley, Essex, Harrow, and all areas in between, so car pooling is an excellent option for most families.
Yes. Typically, 15–20% of UMEI students have an Individual Education Plan (IEP). We work collaboratively with students, families, and previous schools to implement appropriate classroom accommodations that support student success. While UMEI does not offer specialized educational programs, our teachers are committed to providing individualized support and creating an environment where students can thrive.
