A word from our Chapel director
At UMEI Christian High School, chapel is a shared gathering space at the heart of our community. It is a time for students and staff to pause, connect, and reflect on living with purpose, faith, and integrity.
Our chapel program is shaped by community and conversation. Throughout the year, we welcome a variety of Christian voices who offer diverse experiences and perspectives, helping students see faith lived out in meaningful ways. Chapel is not about having all the answers, but about listening well, thinking deeply, and engaging honestly.
Chapel is a safe and respectful space where students are encouraged to wrestle with life’s big questions. Worship through music, prayer, and reflection is a student favourite, grounding our community. We hope chapel shapes how students live out faith in order to become "doers of the Word" through compassion, justice, and service beyond our walls.
"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."
