UMEI is all about community! We have so many school events throughout the year that build community, which makes it easier to learn together, support one another and have fun! UMEI is so much more than just a school!
Studies consistently demonstrate that happiness and positive emotions play a significant role in enhanced academic performance. When students are in a positive and optimistic mindset, they tend to be more creative, engaged, and motivated, leading to better learning outcomes.
UMEI’s culture emphasizing Christian values, built-in support and meaningful friendships creates students who are engaged and and equipped for success.

One of the most common concerns we hear is, “My child won’t know anyone at UMEI.” The reality is that many students arrive knowing few—or no—other students. In our small, welcoming community, friendships form quickly through classes, teams, clubs, trips, and school events.
UMEI is about more than academics; it’s about belonging. Research shows that students learn best when they feel connected and supported. Our new students consistently report that they find new friends very quickly. Through meaningful relationships, Christian values, and a culture of encouragement, UMEI helps students build confidence, find their place, and thrive.

Monthly events organized by students including Campfire Night, Barn Party, Coffee House, Christmas Party, and Valentine’s Party.
All-School Retreat
A full day of chapel activities, icebreaker games, welcoming activities for new students, food and fun!
Lightning Cup
Annual themed Dodgeball Tournament that raises funds for a local charity.
Beach Day
Students can relax and enjoy a day at the beach, taking a break and having fun before exams.
