Shadow Days
Our Shadow Days are designed to give prospective students a “real” experience of what a day at UMEI is like. Students attend UMEI just like any other student, joining Grade 9 and 10 classes and experiencing the school day firsthand. No tests are required! Students should bring their own lunch (microwaves are available), and a locker will be provided for the day. It’s a great opportunity to imagine what it would be like to be part of the UMEI community.
Open House
Experience UMEI at our Open House and get a firsthand look at life in our school community. Explore the campus, connect with teachers and students, discover our programs and extracurricular opportunities, and learn what makes UMEI unique. It’s a great opportunity for prospective students and families to ask questions, experience the atmosphere, and picture what it could be like to be part of UMEI.

Experience Day
Experience Day is a full-day event for students in Grades 7–8 who are interested in learning more about UMEI. Participants take part in mini course previews, Chapel, and a variety of games and activities throughout the day. Lunch is included.
